Our Youth Development Programs and Activities!
The Y is a hub for all, especially youth! There are so many things for teens and tweens to experience at the Y. Below you'll find several areas where youth can engage and be an integral part of the YMCA community.
Gym Space
We have two gym courts that are ready for basketball and open play! Check the schedules page to find the best time to play.
Swim
Jump into one of our pools! Practice in a lap lane, or just play around with friends. If you're looking for lessons, we have those, too ?♂️
Get Fit
The Y is the perfect place to get fit. Build strength and engage in cardio exercises to take your fitness journey to the next level!
Youth & Government
Join dozens of your peers as you serve as legislators, judges, attorneys, lobbyists, and media members in this Model Legislature program!
Gaga Pit & Outdoor Playground
Play some Gaga Ball with friends or ride our massive zipline! We even have sports balls for you to use with your friends.
Programs for Youth

KidQuarium & Kids Clubhouse
Drop your little ones, ages 6 week to 7 years, in our Child Watch area called KidQuarium while you use the Y! We also have an indoor playground called Kids Clubhouse that is open at all times
Reach & Rise®
Our youth mentoring program, Reach & Rise®, provides free group and 1-to-1 mentoring for youth.
YOUTH WELLNESS CENTER POLICY
- Youth members 11-15 years of age are permitted to use the Wellness Center with a Wellness Center Youth Certification or with a parent or Personal Trainer.
- To obtain a Wellness Center Youth Certification, visit the Wellness Center desk.
- Youth members 10 years of age and under are not permitted to use the Wellness Center, even if accompanied by a parent or Personal Trainer.
- Youth members 11-15 years of age who have completed a Wellness Center Youth Certification must wear their Youth ID badge to designate the age-appropriate area of usage as follows:

Youth 11-13 years of age may use the track, bikes, and weight machines.

Youth 14-15 years of age may use all cardiovascular equipment and weight machines.

- Youth members 11-15 years of age, who are supervised by a parent or Personal Trainer (must be within arm’s length), can use all Wellness Center equipment.
- Youth members 16 years of age and older are permitted to use all equipment and do not need supervision.
