The YMCA is thrilled to host the 45th Annual Butler Road Race! Due to public health concerns, the Y will be offering this to our community as a virtual event! In response to the COVID-19 Crisis, we've lowered registration fees so that even more people can be a part of this monumental Road Race.
100% of the proceeds stay local! The Annual Support Campaign funds programs and services for children, families, and seniors in Butler County to ensure that everyone, regardless of age, income, and background, can learn, grow, and thrive.
For more information about the Butler Road Race and how to sponsor this favorite Butler County event, contact Christina Dreher at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The latest trend in racing, virtual races allow participants to partake in races at the time, place, and day that is most convenient for them.
*Please note: Since times are not tracked by an official timing company, awards will not be presented to the top runners this year; however, submitted results will be updated regularly and posted publically.
Participants can run anytime, anywhere! Yes, some courses may be "easier" than others (i.e. trail versus track) but a virtual race gives runners and walkers the freedom to complete their race when/where it is most convenient for their schedule and helps us all practice social distancing.
Participants may complete thier race on any day they choose; however, race results must be sumbitted by June 30th at 11:59pm.
Participants should take weather conditions into consideration and are encouraged to stay safe and take precautionary safety measures when timing thier run.
ALL proceeds from the Virtual Butler Road Race stay local and benefit the YMCA's Annual Support Campaign. The Annual Support Campaign funds programs and services for children, families, and seniors in Butler County to ensure that everyone, regardless of age, income, and background, can learn, grow, and thrive.
All registrations by June 10th receive a Butler Road Race event T-shirt! Participants registered after June 11th will not be guaranteed a shirt.
You can run or walk this event! All participants must comply with social distancing guidelines set in place by governing officials.
There is no time limit to complete this event. Result sumbission is open from Midnight on June 20th through 11:59 PM on June 30th.
Results submitted from bikers will not be posted.
Race results are accepted from June 20 - June 30, and can be submitted by filling out the form at the bottom of this page. Results will be updated regularly and posted publically.
Race results will be posted on our website and our social media pages.
Share your training and raceday journey with us by tagging the Y and using the hashtag #runButler for a chance to be featured on our social media pages and be connected with other runners/walkers.
